TEMPORARY VISITATION RESTRICTIONS in Effect March 13, 2020.
Our number one priority is resident and staff safety. To prevent the spread of contagions or infectious diseases like the COVID-19, we are implementing visitation restrictions as advised by the Department of Health and the CDC.
Only personnel who are “Absolutely necessary for the operations of the community” include but may not be limited to, home staff, contracted and emergency healthcare providers, contractors conducting crucial on-site maintenance, and governmental representatives and regulators and their contractors.
Visitors and personnel will be screened. Screening questions include questions about exposure to COVID-19 and assessing visitors and personnel for cough, shortness of breath, and body temperatures of 100.4 degrees and higher.
I'm Angie, Residence Manager at The Lindley Inn near Athens, Ohio. With the homelike building and warm hospitality of residents and staff, it's no surprise why The Lindley Inn near Athens is the number one community choice for assisted living in Athens County. Visitors cannot help but notice the beautiful array of flowers surrounding our facility as residents enjoy rocking on the porch sipping lemonade or ice tea, listening to the birds and reading a good book.
When you walk into The Lindley Inn the first thing you notice is the warm, inviting atmosphere and the friendly greeting from our house dog, Dixie. Smiling faces of our staff welcome you to our community and the smell of freshly baked cookies makes you feel right at home. The cleanliness of the tastefully decorated common areas and apartments are a credit to our staff. Our kitchen offers a variety of delicious home cooked meals and guarantees no one leaves the table hungry.
You can see the excitement in the residents' eyes as they enjoy listening to or even playing the piano, making crafts, working puzzles, baking or watching a movie and eating popcorn. Some residents enjoy outings for lunch, shopping trips, river boat rides, hiking at Old Man's Cave and concerts at Stuart's Opera House. Family members are always welcome to join residents for all activities and share a daily home cooked meal. Our staff also encourages residents to stay involved with the surrounding community so we have volunteers and area community involvement at The Lindley Inn several days a week.
We go above and beyond to help make The Lindley Inn your home. So, please come visit us and let us share our lovely community with you. We look forward to hearing from you soon and would like to make you a part of our family. And please, call me anytime at 740-797-9701, I'm here to help!
